STEELBIRD SPONSORS THE WANDERERS-BULLETEERS DEHRADUN DGR 2022
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) is a prestigious global event held in approx. 600 cities around the world, with Dehradun (Doon) in India priding itself as a landmark venue. Impeccably dressed men and women take to the road at an early morning hour to owe allegiance and spread awareness about key areas concerning men’s wellbeing – prostrate cancer and mental health. Steelbird, India’s leading automotive components company, proudly sponsored the Dehradun chapter of the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) 2022 on Sunday, 22nd May. The early morning witnessed an overwhelming participation of riders in this year’s edition of the DGR, organized by Wanderers – Bulleteers of Dehradun. Mr. Pankaj Kapur, Managing Director, Steelbird – flagged off more than 100 enthusiastic riders to loud cheer and applause from all present at the city’s ‘Luxuria Farms by Solitaire’ flag-off point. The finshing destination was Throttle Shrottle Café, Canal-Rajpur Road.
The ride was co-sponsored by Golden Rider, Piston Crew, Max Healthcare, Rinko Pharmacy ( Tarun & Varun Wason), Fitzilla , Luxuria farms, Throttle Shottle and Karuj Films. The Doon chapter of the DGR stands out proudly as one of the most generous donation centres and by far the only Indian city to be featured in the global coverage every year. DGR’s main goal is to encourage gentlemen to give thrust to a noble cause – to raise awareness about prostate cancer and male suicide prevention. DGR 2022 had some amazing highlights and awards presented to the riders and those riding pillion.
