The Festivity of Literature Sparkles at IIT -Roorkee

Over the centuries, literature has spread wings and flourished across continents and the essence of books and writing has been appreciated all over. A beautiful celebration of an art form that touches every life and impacts culture, literature events are significantly the new craze among readers and writers alike. One such grand Writers Meet was held at the prestigious premise of IIT Roorkee in collaboration with Kshitij, The Literary Magazine, Cultural Society IIT Roorkee, and Literia Insight.

A mix of various worlds created through the magic of words, whipped out by writers’ thoughts, views, and imagination, books have always fascinated readers. And what better than a golden opportunity to interact with the writers who spin the charm through their pen! Discovering and interacting with both new and established authors who span across various fields of work, the event saw the dazzle of eminent writers like Manas Mukul, Vaibhav Pande, Jyoti Jha, Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Dr. Lalit Arora, Anjali Jorwal. The event was hosted by the Co-Founder; Literia Insight, and Editor-in-Chief; The Literary Mirror, Nitish Raj whose expertise shone through the seamless, interactive, and entertaining conduct of the show. Presided by the Guest of Honor, Dr. Meenakshi Rawat, the event was brimming with enthusiastic students from IIT Roorkee who participated in the discussion and question-answer rounds keenly.

A Panel Discussion on ‘Changing Paradigm of Modern Literature’ witnessed expert input from distinguished speakers who shared their views on literature, books, and writing. The discussion steered towards the synergy of both literature and motivation for one and all by the participating authors- Author & Filmmaker Mukul Ranjan, Bestselling Author & Storyteller Jyoti Jha, Author, TEDx Speaker & Entrepreneur Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Poet & TEDx Speaker Vaibhav Pande, Author, TEDx Speaker & Entrepreneur Dr. Lalit Arora, and Author & IIT student Anjali Jorwal.

The event began with the felicitation of the authors followed by a panel discussion and culminating with a vote of thanks by the participants and leading to an interactive question-answer session where the best questions by the audience received exciting prizes. The Guest of Honor, Dr. Meenakshi Rawat shared her views and extended her vote of thanks to the writers and the organizers.
