Devbhoomi Cultural Festival 2026 Concludes on a High Note, Celebrating Culture, Tourism and Community Development
Chamoli, Uttarakhand: The Devbhoomi Cultural Festival 2026 concluded successfully after two days of vibrant cultural celebrations, community participation and tourism promotion in Chamoli. Organised jointly by the Indian Army and District Administration, Chamoli, under Operation Sadbhavana, the festival focused on showcasing Uttarakhand’s rich cultural heritage while creating meaningful opportunities for communities living in the state’s border villages.
Over the two-day event, the Tourist Arrival Plaza was transformed into a lively hub of culture, tradition, tourism and community participation. Thousands of visitors, including pilgrims, tourists, local residents, students and dignitaries, witnessed folk dances, traditional music, exhibitions, local cuisine, handicrafts and cultural performances showcasing the distinctive identity of Devbhoomi.
Supporting Local Artisans and Entrepreneurs
One of the key highlights of the festival was the strong participation of local artisans, women entrepreneurs, self-help groups and small businesses.
